Yes. The video feed is displayed directly from your device to your browser's memory using the LocalMediaStream API. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Why is the quality low?
Browsers sometimes default to lower resolutions (like 480p) to save battery. The tool displays what the browser requests, but your camera might support 1080p or 4K in native apps.
